Bithell Studios takes its commitment to the environment seriously, and all carbon emissions are offset where possible. The providers we primarily use are outlined below, alongside their environmental impact.

We use Algolia to power the search on this site, and they are also committed to reducing their environmental impact

GitHub has been Carbon Neutral since 2019.

Hosted Solution​

Servers​

AdamRMS is hosted on servers provided by Hetzner.

Hetzner uses electricity sourced from from hydropower, a green source of power.

File Storage, Email Delivery, Reverse Proxy & DNS​

AdamRMS uses Cloudflare for file storage, email delivery, reverse proxy & DNS services. Cloudflare are committed to reducing their environmental impact and purchases Renewable Energy Credits to match all electricity use globally.

Login with Microsoft​

Microsoft publishes their sustainability plans at microsoft.com/sustainability

Operations​

Support Platform & Service Status​

We use Freshdesk, provided by Freshworks and hosted on AWS, to help provide customer support. We are awaiting details of their environmental credentials.

Monitoring​

We are awaiting details from Sentry and DataDog on their environmental impact.

Analytics​

We do not use Google Analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity on both adam-rms.com and the hosted solution (dash.adam-rms.com) to understand how users interact with the website and application. Clarity collects anonymised usage data such as heatmaps and session recordings. Microsoft publishes their sustainability plans at microsoft.com/sustainability.

We also use analytics provided as part of Cloudflare.
